[Routine] Dr Sante – Cleansing Foam

Ukraine has very interesting local products. They’re globally cheap and work well (and no, they’re not Chernobyl-ized, thank you).

Dr Sante is a part of Elfa Group, which owns several cosmetic brands sold in Ukraine, Russia and probably a few more Eastern European countries in supermarkets and drugstores. I already reviewed a Dr Sante product (a toner) which I really liked and needed a new foam cleanser, so I went for this one, from the Chamomile range.

What the brand says :

“With just one click, you get a super-light mousse ready for washing. It gently removes dust, makeup and other dirt, does not injure the skin.“

 

The formula is good, the foam is quite dense and you don’t have to apply a lot of product to get your face totally clean. The pump is a bit hard to push but it delivers the right amount of product.

I prefer cleansing foam to gel or soap ’cause it’s less harsh to my skin.

The smell is delicate and light.

You get 150ml for ~2€, not bad at all!

Comparison : Dusky Mauve vs Smokin Hot vs I Brake for Manicures

I often hear and read that those purple taupe polishes are really similar.

Well, I have a nice comparison for you today with Barry M. Dusky Mauve, Essie Smokin’ Hot and OPI I Brake for Manicures.

As you can see, they’re no dupe here :)

Dusky Mauve has a warmer base, Smokin Hot has more gray undertones and I Brake for Manicures is a lot darker.

Monday Challenge : Favorite Nail Polishes

Thanks to My Beauty Quebec, this week, her challenge has a great theme : nail polish.

If you like to read me, you already know I’m a nail polish sucker. I LOVE nail polish. You can find a ton of colors, effects, formulas and it’s often cheaper than other cosmetic products.

I like different kind of nail polish, but my fave formulas at the moment are creams, jellies and glitters (top coats and polishes). I’m not against shimmers or pearls if they’re really good.

I didn’t really liked shattered, matte ans suede polishes and I’m not into flakies at all.

I like dark, rich and deep colors or nudes, I don’t like neons and sadly, my skin doesn’t allow me to wear pastel colors and I suck at nail art.

So here are my fave polishes at the moment :

As you can see, I mostly have OPI’s, Essies and China Glazes but the little gems I can find in Ukraine have a special place in my drawers as well.
